Lots to Do

Hello, this is a picture of an old dresser top I bought at the Shepton Mallet Antiques fair, I loved it when I saw it, it has two glass doors as well, I have now started to sand the old paint off and then I will paint, I have taken the doors off to do seperately, I will show you the finished product, I love doing these things it is so rewarding when you finish them and you bring them back to life with pretty china.
I went to Kathleens for a quiet cup of tea, she was having a major change around in her computer room, Where does that woman get her energy?

Beautiful

Hello everyone, today was my first day out and about, I went shopping with Kathleen to get some food for my very depleted cupboards, we also went to the garden centre and got lots of lovely plants I then collapsed onto the sofa in my summerhouse with a cup of tea, I kept hearing this funny squawking noise and all of a sudden there was a parrot in my garden he had lots of red on him, gosh ! he was noisy but very colourful he must have escaped from somewhere.

The two pictures are of a Bluebell wood in a village next to our village of Desford they are simply breathtaking, I took Kathleen to see them ans she moaned all the way around because there was'nt a coffee shop but she took lots of photo's too.

Sorry it's Been so Long!

Hello everyone, I am so sorry it's been so long since I posted anything but I have been a bit poorly, all over Easter and I am only just getting better, it was one of these awful virus's and it knocked me for six, never mind I am on the mend. The picture you see is of a quilt I have just finished, I took it around to Kathleens and we photographed it on her bed, I love hexagons this whole quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted the only bit of machining was to attach the binding, it's always a lovely feeling when you finish a quilt.
Well, did you all watch that beautiful Royal Wedding what a lovely day! lets hope they will be happy, I am sure they will be, he is much more of a man than his father will ever be, enough said.
